WP TwentyEleven theme totally customized

Hi to all!

I would like to show you a website Genuine Property Buyers - Sell house fast on which I've customized well known TwentyEleven theme, completely.

My client didn't want me to develop a theme from a scratch, so this is what I've done, and he is now pretty good satisfied.

It was very interesting while I was working on the news section. He wanted a little bit more "magazine" style for category and single post view, so I had to include two CSS files and radically change category.php i single.php template.

What's your general opinion?

    well done. Though I would use non-serif fonts for the navigation.

    But why not build this from scratch with a bootstrapped framework? Re-developing twentyeleven is pretty complexe.
    my starting framework is roots.io - using grunt and less workflow you`ll improve your productivity.

      You know, client is actually my good friend, and I wanted to save him time and money. That's why we didn't go from a scratch, which takes more time for sure.

        This has turned out very well. The site has a lot of information, but has a really nice clean look to it as well!

        May I ask how you embedded the Youtube video without any of the player buttons, full screen and the related videos at the end?

          You have to customize your code:

          <iframe width="636" height="359" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Wl59vxT_BCo?modestbranding=1;autohide=1&amp;showin fo=0&amp;controls=0&amp;autoplay=1;rel=0;" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

          This part from https:// to the ?modestbranding is where you have to put your YouTube embed code, and after you have parameters autohide, showinfo, controls, autoplay and related video where "1" is "yes", and "0" is "no".

    Might want to use a minify plugin to lessen the amount of HTTP requests on the site, but it looks great - especially for having started with Twenty-Twelve!

    Maybe let client play the video once he has read the site instead of being bombarded by video - just my two cents worth-otherwise nice good!
