WP problem -- "full width" isn't really full width...

Any way to get rid of sidebar --client wants gallery to be 4 or 5 pics across.
I can't do that because the sidebar takes up space (even though it's empty).

Any way to solve this?

you will need to edit the theme core

  Use a plugin to remove sidebar - custom page template.
  Or
  Use a theme with a no-sidebar page option.
