I plan to purchase a domain from a company other than the web host provider.

What is the best domain registrar where I can easily change the name servers?

    Namecheap for me.

I've been using it for many years and it's super easy to set up the nameservers, as you're asking to.

For me, it's either NameCheap or DirectNic.

    Cheaper is NOT always better

Never do biz with 1&1 if it involves domains. Godaddy is your best choice. Been with them for 7 years and never had an issue.

I'm registering from Exabytes with lot of discount and promotion codes. The registrar Exabytes comes from Singapore and it's good for me.

I see that I'm not alone with using namecheap.com! I have used them for all of my domains. One of the features I like about them is the ability to push domains between users. Good for buying and selling.

I'm on board with the other people here who have suggested namecheap. Been with them for years and never had any problems. Plus, the feature of of being able to push domains between users is good if you are wanting sell.

Enom.com is my choice because almost all hosts get their license from Enom. And if you maintain a reseller acct the price for domain names is discounted and if you register in bulk the price is even cheaper.

You can't conclude which one's best. Most of them are good in their own ways. But I've been using Namecheap for years now and I'm very pleased with it.
