In header rather than "Welcome to Virtuesmind" through a catchy dialogue. I personally don't like twitter widget style.

First off it's hard to take it serious as your using free hosting. Free hosting that will steal your visitors just with the top notification bar alone. Well, think you know this.

I agree, though, it's not the best looking. And it just doesn't give me reasons to stay and read more. Links to posts are small, hard to read.

As a writer, one of my pet peeves is content errors: spelling, grammar, or simply missing spaces between words. You can have the most beautiful content in the world, and destroy its message with something that's very easy to fix.

It's looking better. The text could really use some formatting, it's all bunched up. People don't like to read big blocks of text.

I am not font or typographic expert, so I don't know the "right" size.

Seems to look pretty good for me. Although, from what I've read, a little bigger seems to be better these days. Course that also depends on the font. Some of the experts say 16 px. But that might be too bigger for the font your using.

You probably already know this, but your social buttons in the sidebar are not working.

Why have a stats counter? Do you really want visitors to see that you don't have traffic right now? Plus it's a traffic leak, links to another site.

Is the calender really necessary? Haven't seen any one use one in like forever. What purpose does it really serve?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your template has links to external sites in the footer. So your promoting some one else's site. Course one is for the free hosting.

In the top menu there is a "|" right next to each menu item, just seems odd, or like there needs to be a space or two between it and the menu text.

Site could REALLY use some images, just boring text now, not as interesting as it could be with the right images. Could use alot more white space too, text section just kind of smashed together. Not as pleasant to read.

As I said before, you really should break up the text, just big paragraphs.

One other big thing, you need to get paid hosting, so you don't have the top nav bar and the links out to the free site builder. Unless this is just a hobby site.

I just had a look. your website needs some more images as it looks pretty boring. you also need to use small paragraphs instead of big blocks of text. Most users on the internet are impatient so they like to get more information in less time. They get turned off when they see big blocks of text.

I would recommend you to lose the calendar. Also change the poll. Don't ask straight off in poll to rate your site. Make your poll creative.

I'm guessing you're either in the middle of changing things or something has gone amiss, if it's the former, you may want to consider having an under construction page ready for maintenance. I can't really critique the site or give any recommendations as things are now... currently seeing 31 404 errors on all your images.

That's terrible advice... design is a very important factor! Quality content definitely outweighs a good design, but to disregard look and feel / usability is setting yourself up for failure.
