Sales page within a blog?

Hi warriors!
I have a question:
5 years ago I set up a wordpress blog for my business. It uses a regular blog theme.
Now I would like to insert a sales page within the blog. Obviously, I want to use another theme (something like Optimizepress) just for that page.
Can I do that?
I don't want to change the theme for the rest of the blog.
Maybe there is an obvious solution for this but I have not found it.

If i'm not mistaken you can do that.
My solution is to just host my sales page on JVZoo

As your main blog.

You can create another Wordpress installation in a folder here:

http://yoursitehere.com/sales - this folder can be any name you want.

Your new Wordpress login URL for the sales page you want to create would then be:

http://yoursitehere.com/sales/wp-login.php

Remember, you need to create a new Database and Username (and connect the two with set permissions) that's different from your blog's because it is a new Wordpress install.

In all, this should really only take you 3 minutes to setup. It's super easy stuff. Let me know and I'd be more then willing to help you out.

There is no need to use jvzoo or install a new instance of wordpress.

All you need to do is use a wordpress template. It is not a theme, just a template. With a template you can use it with your current theme. Once installed, when you make a new page you just choose the template from the drop down menu underneath "Template" in the right hand menu.

Here's how you can do it yourself:

Or there are ready-made templates out there, actually quite a few for salespages, ect.

  Find in the plugin depository a page template plugin.
  When you create a page assign the sales page template to it.
  If you know HTML - designing a sale page with this should be easy.

You could manually make a page and then use sites like sellfy.com to add links.
There will be a tonne of PayPal checkout scripts out there too if you want an Actual store.
