Amazon associates wordpress question #2

Have incorporated an amazon aStore on my site using the inline embedding technique , things are looking good on my site.

Now my question is.. I got the html codes from my .com amazon but im almost targeting .ca and .co.uk, not really sure how to word this hope you guys know what im trying to say..

I want it so if someone from uk or canada clicks on the aStore items it will direct them to thier countrys amazon so i will get the commission from the sale.

    The problem you run in to is that there are not direct matches for products between different countries. Say there a US dog collar, there is not a match for the same product say in UK. So you can't have a site that sells products for every country, they just don't match up. And often there is no similar product say to a US available product.

    Unless there a plugin or script that I have not seen yet.

    You pretty much have to have a store for each country.

    I stopped using the aStore a long time ago. It's just iframe content, so it's not really content for your site. Plus it's pretty limited in descriptions, ect. I prefer to embed the products right into my pages, page for each product. Easy to do with Wordpress and a plugin.

    Maybe the aStore addresses the issue of multiple counties? I don't know have not used it for a long time. But sounds like you already looked in to it.

      1. Your Amazon Associates ID is country-specific (e.g. an ID for the US will not give you credit in a UK store). You must register for an Associate ID from the locale that matches your store.

      2. Create a country-specific blog or (webpage) (on wordpress, or something else) and add any shopping cart widget for amazon associates (also you can embed country-specific astore).
