Widget Position

Hi
I'm using Solon theme, and I want my widget alongside and level with my content on my home page and every page. However I dont know what I have done but all my widgets on my sidebar have dropped right down. Can anyone tell me why?
Its driving me bonkers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am no code expert, but almost every time I've seen it, or had that happen to me, it's because previous content is too big, so it ends up bumping down the side bar. Previous content is too big, so there is not enough room for the sidebar to be along side.

    In looking at the CSS, I see this popping up: "width: 978px;" too wide. Throwing off your sidebar.
