WordPress Comments System

Hi. I'm just curious about this.

There are many commenting systems/plugins for WordPress like: WordPress integrated system, Disqus, Facebook comments, Google Plus comments, Livefyre, IntenseDebate, etc.

Which one of those are you using for your blog and which encourages your visitors to engage more with your content?

  • We use Disqus which satisfy us very much!

  • Well, first of all, all commenting systems that require you to register are a big no-no in my book. And second, the ones that don't allow you to leave your link are, most of the time, useless.
They do not encourage people to leave a comment at all!

The ones that require registration make it too difficult for people to leave a comment. When I see an interesting article and want to leave my 2 cents, I don't want to waste 10 minutes with registration! I just want to comment and move on to the next article or to the next blog.

And the ones that don't allow you to leave your link, even no-follow, will chase away so many visitors! Everyone and their dog have a blog these days So, I can't imagine how most of them will want to leave a comment on a website that doesn't let them leave their link, for potential visitors to check their blog out too.
