WEB DESIGN

Hey warriors, im working on a website and i want to make it pretty exclusive, does anyone know a way to make it so only people i give a link too can visit the website, and anyone else that trys to visit my website, without the link or trys typing in the url, will get sent to a 404 page or something like that. TL;DR HOW DO I MAKE MY WEBSITE ONLY AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE I GIVE A UNIQUE LINK TOO, AND EVEN PEOPLE THAT TRY AN TYPE THE URL CANT VISIT THE WEBSITE.. Thanks in advance

You could password protect the site with .htaccess. Then block everything else with robots.txt block all.

You can Google information on both of these.

You could then email passwords to only the people you want to access it.

  There are ways with expiring URL's or you can assign only selected IP's to your link. But from user experience all that makes no sense in your case. So like Jellypie the only way I see is using a password protection.

There are more methods to do, use IP of those people and allow them to access your site.

one simple method is anyone can visit your site and the one who are approved can login to visit certain link.
