Can't get my font kit to render/display on Firefox and Safari

Hi,

My FontSquirrel font kits for the 'roboto' font aren't rendering on Firefox and Safari.
They load, but look terribly ugly.

My main concern is with the Roboto Condensed Italic, which looks utterly disgusting on Safari and Firefox alike.

Roboto regular looks ugly on when bolded on Safari, but it runs 100 % well on Firefox.

Every time I download any FontSquirrel fontkit, I get the same problem with FF and SAF.

Although, on their site, it displays nicely in all browsers. So, what they are using as font kit surely works well for them.

Tips, advice, ideas? Million thanks to those who'd help

Never used the Font Squirrel fontkit before, but Roboto is also a Google Font. Couldn't you use that instead?

Often this is because you have entered something incorrectly. Here is an example. I copied all the info from the webkit into my css inserts using one theme. One browser would not get it right. A year later when I went to WebPagetest - Website Performance and Optimization Test and loaded the page I found an error in the font path. The theme had added the base url to the front of the path. I removed that from the css insert and voila-good in all browsers.
