Hi All,

So far, I have only been able to find 2 solutions to this issue;

1.) Mystic Thumbs $29 per seat/license
2.) Ardfry $19.95 license

I was looking for a free solution, but to date, I am likely going to buy Mystic Thumbs for $29, but figured I see if anyone here knows of a better, cheaper, or free solution?

Too many PSD's, it's getting mind boggling trying to figure out what they represent! HELP!!!! -LOL

Thanks,

Cyndi

PS - before someone suggests "Buy a Mac" - In due time... I will!

    I don't use it, but far as I know Gimp can work with PSD's. Though sounds like your looking for something different.

    Did not know there where PSD viewers. interesting.

    Don't know what Mac has to do with PSD.

    Thanks for responding Ron, a PSD file is a Photoshop image file, and Windows 8.1 will not show the image thumbs when browsing downloads or image files on Windows, so you basically see a 'blue icon' with a file name. When you have say 100,000 PSD files (*like me) it gets really aggravating trying to remember which image is 'under' the blue icon...LOL!

    Guess, I gotta buy another program to fix the problem, I was hoping someone here would give some insight as to the best solution.

    Oh I know what they are. I use and create them every day. I use them with photoshop myself.

    But I see what your saying. I have a ton of them as well, and I have always thought, I wish I could see a preview. I just open them in PS right now. Wouldn't mind finding a viewer myself.

    Will have to check myself.

    Yeah, it's a PITA trying to open each graphic file to see the preview, that's for sure!

    I'm to the point where I think from the research I've done, MysticThumbs offer for $29 seems like the best option. They allow you to view 'other various files' like for creating mobile apps, and have some cool options that allow you to make the background transparent, etc... right from the preview thumb in your Windows files. Actually, I think you can keep the PSD icon, and view the thumb 'automatically in Windows 8.1 also.

    I figured there was a free solution (outside of 'blackhat' techniques) to convert the psd image thumbs in windows, but I guess not. And for $29 it seems fair enough to just buy the converter from Mystic.
