  • The loading time of your website isn't determined by a plugin.. so if you're having trouble with this, you should first look into what could it be that makes your website load slow (big images, bad web host, there may even be some plugins you use that can slow it down).
  • My site is was slow the other days, so i start looking for info about how to put my wordpress more faster and a lot of site recomend that you install the W3 total cache, so i did and my website is more faster.

You also need to enable the GZIP Compression in Wordpress, here is also a Video that can help you (Is in spanish but you can follow the example of what he do, is easy)

I hope that this can help you!!
  • WP Super cache

If you have lots of heavy videos and images host them separately.
  • I would suggest you to find a new hosting provider.
Cache plugins are for big websites with large amount of visitors.

    • Rubbish. Caching helps your site whether it gets 10 visitors a day or >million visitors per day.
  • Use Gzip to compress all the images, convert all the css into one css, avoid inline css.
  • I'd just like to point out the irony in using a plugin to speed up a WordPress site. Plugins are notorious for slowing WordPress down. Perhaps you should remove all non-essential plugins and enable Gzip as others have suggested.

    • Haha I agree! Your goal should be to use the least possible amount of plugins. Best thing you can do is to make sure you get a high quality code validated theme, minimize the use of plug-ins, make sure your photos/media are optimized, keep your page content clean, and use good hosting (such as a VPS).

I use managed WordPress VPS hosting, so the server is optimized for WordPress, it has caching built into their system so I don't need a plugin for that, and they have a CDN add-on which can help a lot too.
  • Try with lazyload wordpress plugin
  • W3C is great, works like a charm. Set it up and you will be satisfied.

    • Clean out your database with wp-optimize. Then turn it off- not critical but a good practice for this type of plugin.
