Hi, how are you guys going?

So, i'm planning to start doing websites for people who need it for their business, but i have a few questions about how to proceed after the site is ready to go.

How do you put it online? You just buy the domain?

How the payment process works? Paypal is the best option?

Again, i'm a complete newbie, and i'm new to the forum as well, so i'm sorry if this post is in the wrong place.

Best wishes to all.

If you're this clueless about these very simple tasks then I'd say you have a lot of reading and learning ahead of you before you even start thinking of offering your services to businesses.

While reading/learning you should also be building some of your own personal sites to get a feel of what you're doing. Then maybe in a few months you can do websites for friends or family to understand the process a bit more. Once your friends and family are satisfied and you feel more confident (and you built a small portfolio) then you can start marketing your services to businesses.

However, you're far from ready if you're asking how to put the website online. Your clients will expect you to be an expert.

Google is your FRIEND. Search and Read

After that go through the process of setting up and running the website yourself, then sign up to freelancing sites such as odesk or freelancer and apply for related jobs there.

Be sure to buy the domain from an accredited registrar, like Namecheap, and not a host.
Hosts can lose domains, hold them hostage, etc. Avoid that nightmare.

    - Buy domain, design site, make content, branding/business plan.
    - Buy hosting
    - Continue making content, updating site

1.) Establish the basics. Your website will need two things:
A unique domain name. Each domain name is registered with a DNS (Domain Name Server), which identifies a domain name with a unique Internet Protocol (IP) address.
Space. Each website must have a web space allocated to it. This is provided by a web server, many of which are maintained by private companies.

2.) Find out if the name you want is available.

3.) Find a website that can show you similar domain names that are available.

    4.) Register your domain.

    5.) Manage your website.
