Trying to embed youtube video in wordpress site

Hello,

I'm trying to embed a youtube video and I keep getting this at the end of the URL : failed to embed. Any clue why I keep getting this?

  • Use the actual youtube page URL and no the embed url that is on the youtube video page

    • Correct. Just use the actual URL, the one in the address bar of your browser. Copy and paste the link in your post, your video should be showing.
  • The URL from the embed option, under the 'Share' tab?

  • Yeah just use the exact URL not the embed one. try it.

    • The exact URL will only work if you have latest version of Wordpress.
  • Try with exact youtube URL instead of embedded code.
