Using Machinima as Advertising

I'm not sure if anyone has heard about Machinima in these forums or have tried this out but have you seen the WoW Toyota Commercial? They jumped the WoW popularity bandwagon and made a million-hit youtube commercial. Do you think that using technology such as machinima to create an innovative advertising campaign is feasible? I'd like to hear from you experts

    Hey now that's an interesting idea! Being a gamer, mapper and 3D tinkerer, I've always wanted to have a shot at machinima. I never thought of using it for advertising.

    I think it could work for sure, especially if it included a twist of humour.

    Sky thanks for this link, I really enjoyed those videos and they look so professionally done. Cinema 4D is pretty good stuff. I think I'm going to try and do some more research about this and hopefully something good comes out of it. I'd like to make a small ad campaign that is machinima based since one of the products I market is game based.
