Where to find good logo designers?

I want to redesign my forum logo but having difficulty in finding good logo designers for it.

Which places would you recommend to find them? how to check if they are good designers?

Any suggestions!

    You can check it online, you can find more references and if you want to check they are good designer or not you can check Portfolio of designer.

      I second this. I have used fiverr on many occasions for logo design. Mostly had great experiences.

        Yes. You might get a logo for that price, but need to pay extra for more revisions, psds, priority (quicker delivery), etc. I normally budget $25 per logo. And for that price I can always pay for 2-4 gigs from different providers and choose my favorite one.

          You are right, I got an offer from my forum member, he offered me $250 for a logo design (include concepts) but I am still considering about this offer. It's rather high for me.

        You can get quality on Fiverr but you have to search for qualified designers first. You will also have to pay more for better creativity and talent.

        Make sure you get a package which allows for some revisions and get the ai/eps files. They will be needed in the future to make quick and easy modifications to the logo.

        I do logo designs (never been on Fiverr) myself but my prices are high due to the NYC market.

        There is talent on Fiverr though, you just have to look.
