I took a look at my pagespeed optimization lately and the big culprit of my site loading slowly on mobile phones is "render-blocking javascript". The javascript in question is actually the code that makes my website menu responsive to mobile screen sizes. Without it, my website would not have a useful menu for mobile. But with it, my website loads slower on mobile. This is a Catch 22 for me. My theme is the free version of Heatmap Adaptive theme if you want to check it out.
Responsive Wordpress theme - maximized Pagespeed?

Does anyone know of how to make a responsive website menu that doesn't require javascript? Or preferably, a Wordpress theme that is built to be both mobile-responsive but also maximize page load speed?
