How do you host your own videos?

I want to stream videos inside my paid membership. I tried Youtube but they're muting my videos because of some random music in the background.

I've heard of Vimeo Pro but are they as strict as Youtube about copyrights?

I also tried Amazon S3 but my videos are HD and they keep freezing. Also I've been told if I want my customers to stream the videos on any device I need to save my videos in many different video format.

Here's a list of video hosting service I found so far, let me know if you've heard of them or if you know a better one.

Vzaar
Vidyard
Viewbix
Viddler
Sproutvideo
Wistia
Dacast

If anyone could point me in the right direction to stream my videos on any device without constantly worrying about the copyright police I would really appreciate it!

Thanks for your help.

You could try JWplayer there free version works great on websites or an alternative
is to upload to Youtube where it will compress the file and then you can use the link in the player.

I can't use Youtube they keep finding copyrighted music in my videos. I don't mean to record it but when I'm talking you can hear it in the background. I'll take a closer look at JWplayer.

  • How is the music getting in the background? Do you have it playing in background when you are recording? What kind of microphone are you using? I am using a Logitech USB with noise reduction, only $27 on Amazon.
I have also heard you can embed videos stored on Google Drive.

I'm making workout videos and my gym plays very loud music. No matter what I do you can always hear it in the background. Where can I find good music I could put over my soundtrack that's copyright free?

Someone feel free to chime in and correct me if I'm wrong here,

but I would think that you would probably be able to just upload your video file directly to your sites public directory, then just embed it anywhere you would like on your website with some basic HTML like this

My files are all in HD, my hosting service will charge me an arm and a leg for the storage and bandwidth.
