UGC site with points system

Hi guys. I would like to create a UGC site where users can submits posts for review which will be posted on the site if accepted. Furthermore, I would like to create a points system where users gain points for registering, having a post accepted, number of views of the post, commenting other posts, etc. as well as having the ability to subtract points when they submit a spammy post or send a spammy content, etc. What CMS would you recommend me for this? I'm not a programmer so I would like to use as much as possible current technology that doesn't require much tweaking... Thank you very much!

  • Wordpress with a points management plugin. I use MyCRED.

    You could also accomplish this with a forum...more spam to deal with, though.

    • Thanks Jason. I'd like to make a magazine-like site, so a forum wouldn't work. Would you recommend Wordpress over Drupal in a case like this one?. Can you customize how people get points (or get points subtracted) with my MyCRED? I mean, can you sort of create "rules" by which users obtain points, or do you choose from default options?. Anyone else uses a similar points system you'd like to recommend?
