How to paste content into Wordpress like on Facebook…HELP!

Maybe someone knows how to do this?

I want to insert content on a Wordpress blog like you can do on facebook. So copy and paste the url of any website and then a little preview shows up that you can click. I cannot figure out how to get this done.

Any help appreciated!

  • You should have a look at the wordpress plugin called Embedly. It should do the trick for you.

    • Hi Raresmp! Yes, I know embed.ly but I do not like that THEY are in control of my content. That's why I'm looking for something similar that’s sitting on my server. I will take a look at codecanyon, maybe I find some javascript there.
