Help Restore Backup - Cpanel

Hi, I normally build WordPress site for local clients in my small town. However I had a new clients who wants me to restore a cpanel backup of a site she bought off someone else. I have attached a picture of the zip file I was emailed. Does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to do this. I use my own backup software and manage sites view WHM. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you Kimberly

    You can't restore FULL BACKUP by your self. You need to open support ticket at your web hosting provider & they will be able to restore the backup (zip file). Alternatively you can do so but it will not include everything so my recommendation will be to ask the web hosting provider to restore it. (only root users can restore it in WHM). If you wish to do restore by yourself (partial restore) then copy the WordPress files into public_html directory. Create a new database & update the credentials for the database in wp_config.php

    This should be sufficient to make your website live.

    I finally figure out the person used a duplicator plugin and was able to restore it.

    You can restore wordpress backup easily from the cPanel see Backup and Restore of WordPress Website It is always good to use FTP client agent like filezilla for copying files to and fro from the server.
