    You can post your website link in forums for review, many peoples will see it and If your site have a good and interested contents then maybe they will stay for long time and bookmark your site or share it on social media.

    - Add button of social media sharing on your site
    - Share it on Social sites like facebook, twitter, reddit, etc
    - Join group and forum related to your site niche
    - Post comments on reputed website which is related to your site.

    such a mulitfaced question, but to answer this, you can view it 3 ways.

    1) GET WITH IT! its 2016 and after the GFC and stock market crash, I noticed that list building works ever better these days, with the rapid development with mobile and apps. the first thing people do when they wake up and kiss the mrs good morning and lead over and grab the phone for emails. So I have noticed that having your own list of customers, you can send stuff to works killer in 2016, no matter what people say.

    LISTBUILDING is the foundations of having a sustainable business, and can make you literally thousands of dollars each week. 88% of my sales these days come from email marketing alone, so there is no reason not to do this.

    2) PAID TRAFFIC!, if you are not doing this, you are missing out on huge income. If you do not have income, use FREE traffic, but realise you will have to spend many long hours a day slaving over your computer while you try to eat, drink and sleep. Paid traffic is where power and leveage is. You can literally turn on the tap whenever you want traffic to drip over to your site, as much as you want, or as little as you want, by litteraly tapping the on / off switch. You can use various sources. I could list hundreds, but again this is 2016, and paid traffic is getting more expensive, so you need to concentrate your efforts on the mains ones.

Ok, maybe not crappy, but they look like everyone else, and do not stand out.

    I once helped a client selling t-shirts, and we bought like a huge shark, and make shirts with fake blood and had actors wearing them in the street looking like they just got eaten by a shark. Right out side their shop. We also had hot girls in hardly anything -cloths- with free icecream outside the shop as well. Basically people were lining up just to get the icecream, but they had to come in the shop.

    Results, sales increased by 305% that whole week, and then month ROI was right up also.

    Yes! I know this is offline, but you have to shock people, create curiosity. They say, curiosity killed the cat....No, but its gets people involved, wanting their brain to know more. Gets them indulged, and interested!!! in a world of clean cut advertising junk, if you can stand out just a little bit, prepare to get results.

    Think about how they advertised the NEW SUPRANOES series on TV. Anyone remember, they had a fake dead body hanging out of TAXI's as they drove around Manhattan and new york. The viewer rates went through the roof. It was simple, and effective. While I think they got in trouble in the end, because they were distracting drivers, that is exactly what they intended to do in the first place. SHOCK and CREATE curiosity. When you can do this, you will not fail.

    Traffic is the lifeblood of the internet, without it, we have nothing, and no income each month.

    Targeted traffic is what you are after. The higher quality of your leads and traffic, the more chance people will buy your stuff.

    The guys who are doing millions of dollars online are using paid media, and its no question if you want to do well online that is where you need to go. Be different, be shocking, be daring and stand out from the crowd, and you money will not go to waist. Eventually you willl not have to pay for traffic, as people will want to hunt you down. And that is where I was going with this post in the first place.

You can also try social bookmarking and link building. Or you can do the old-fashioned way, by printing the website on your calling card.
