Hey all,

Im trying to get my site to look better

I have a free theme, its okay but would another theme help my rankings? I think the theme is just for looks but i could be wrong. Also, I get a lot of clicks but people usually read 1 or two stories and leave. I think its my theme!

So do themes affect rankings and what themes are popular enough to where my bounce rate gets lower! Thanks for the help!

    But if you're serious, no, themes don't affect ranking. You will not reach page 1 of Google because of a theme. There are however better themes in terms of SEO friendliness.

    Using a different theme might affect your bounce rate, the one you use now is horrible. It's ugly and makes things hard to find.

  • Your theme won't get you higher on Google obviously. But the design of your theme will affect the people who visits it. So consider editing it.

    What I would suggest is VOICE theme. Clean, flat, and modern-looking.
  • I have reviewed your website. The content of stories is ok but you have to take care of the design of your website and color combination. For example the surface color of the website is Gray and the menus (Bottom side in the website) font color, is not matches. The header of the website is white and looking blank as here is only the Home button and search option. The website is need to be more attractive as it is now. Also try to add images with the stories if possible so that it will attract readers.
