Which wordpress theme: Divi, Avada, Enfold or X

hi

just some quick info about what i want.

Ive read so many different reviews of all of the above however nearly all seem just to be done to earn affiliate links for purchases so are not really that reliable.

i can use wordpress to an average standard. ive done the lynda.com courses.
id like to set up my own website for my construction company and id also like to setup a few others for myself which will be a fitness website, a supplement shopping cart selling supplements, and possibly an Interiors shopping cart selling kitchens/bathrooms at a later date.

i like the idea of divi pricing model where you sign up for a year and you can use that theme, and all their other themes on as many sites as you like.

X, avada and encore all seem to be purchased on a per domain basis. im happy to do that if needed but costs a little more. (cost isnt the major factor).

X looks to have the 'newer' look and offer more 'modern' designs but from readying reviews it looks like its the hardest to use and its not as simple as 1 click installs and comes with its own learning curve all over again.

avada and encore both look very similar?

divi probably looks the least 'modern' to me however i could be wrong.

can anybody offer any advice on which to go with?

im not a web developer and i dont intend to be. I want to get my own websites up and running as quickly as possible, look good, and be able to change things as and when i want. id probably like to create a 'blank' template style without any content or branding that im happy with, and then replicate this onto all my various domains as and when i have time. all i would have to do is then add content and branding to each site but the basic outline and template of each would be the same.

which is the best to use regarding learning, replication, quality of work produced, upto date technology, upto date looks, cost etc etc

thanks

Can't speak for the others but I've had many good experiences using Divi — it's simple to setup and easy to customise. Their support team is also excellent and very fast. You don't need to renew your subscription to continue using the theme either; the subscription just entitles you to updates (for Divi and all of ET's other themes).

I have designed a lot of sites with both Divi and Avada, they are both really good themes. Both have page builders, the Divi one is easier to learn, but is also less versatile. Avada's page builder is great, has a lot more options and it will take longer to master, but Avada works really well with woo comm. If you are going to pick one and plan on using it for multiple sites (including a shop site) I would go with Avada.

can you use be theme on multiple domains with one purchase or do you have to purchase it for every domain?

with the licence agreement with WP you should be able to.
i see some people work around this on other themes by installing it on the purchased website, then back it up and copy to another website. this works but it wont update.

AVADA is the clear winner for me.

I've read reviews on both AVADA, DIVI, and X theme. I installed both AVADA and DIVI and played around for 15 minutes. My experience is mostly with Thesis but I do understand the idea of frameworks.

DIVI for me is the weakest choice out of those 3, many people complaining about styling limitations or hard to deal with if you want make a large site. AVADA and X Theme are the best.

    Why I like AVADA best:
    - Easier to use and understand than DIVI or X.
    - It's far more easily customizable than DIVI or X. Divi has a problem of always feeling like one theme.
    - From the way, it's organized, I feel it's easier to splice a PSD into AVADA theme.
    - Friendlier for developers. If you know how to work with code, AVADA won't get in your way.
    - I hear it loads faster than others.
    - I hear they have great support, I never used it.
    - I hear their team has only AVADA. This means all their energy and support goes into one theme instead of multiple.

Truly, it depends on your vision for future additions and developments. If you are looking to leverage as many assets as possible at any point in time, go with X. So many capabilities.

Divi is limited and is a bit cookie cutter (in my opinion) when it comes to design options. Do not choose a theme thinking "wow, this looks great in the demo". Research the assets that come with each theme and understand how you can leverage those assets in the future. X will not leave you short of any options and is one of the top ranked premium theme designs in the Envato marketplace. Can't go wrong.
