How can I remove the portfolio_entries in my portfolio permalink?

Greetings,

I really hope you can help me with this. I used a portfolio plugin but in my permalink, it adds portfolio_entries.

I tried the custom permalink plugin but it still it can't change it. I want to change http://mydomain.com/portfolio_entries/success-stories/ just to http://mydomain.com/success-stories/

I have worked long hours already on this how to address this.

Your help will be very much appreciated.
