there's a site doing a job in a different niche to mine.

i want to build a site that does the same thing, but in my niche.

i understand it's not possible to copy backend code.

is it possible to copy the html of a site -- and then change the look of it for my site -- and to then build the backend code?

  • Right Click on the Page & click the "VIEW PAGE SOURCE" you will see the html coding. copy the html coding & edit it. If you have knowledge about the HTML, you will be able to do this work easily. If you do not have the general knowledge, you will will need take some help from the expert. Thanks

    • Why not just figure out if they are working off a canned template?
  • You can also open internet explorer and save your webpage which you want to copy. IE will create a local folder with all the files downloaded.

    • If you're referring to the php code, you won't be able to download that through your browser. You would require access to the server by FTP in order to get the php files. What you currently see in your browser is the html that is produced after php has passed though the php engine.
