Is this a time to move in VPS or Cloud or Dedicated server environment?
I am looking for some advice from experienced designers of websites.
We have few website running in shared windows environment. Shared hosting has many ready to use features and those are not necessarily available in VPS or Cloud or dedicated server environments. I am not technical expert but understand some of it. Some features such as name servers settings, email server, are not readily available in other three environments. Similarly these server packages come with various RAM capacities. unlimited bandwidth, lots of GB for storage on SSD etc.
Question1:
Considering all above, if one website receives almost 500 hits per day then is it technically good to move away from shared hosting to VPS or Cloud or dedicated server environment?
Question2:
Is one cloud server with 1GB RAM, unlimited bandwidth, 100GB SSD, 1 CPU Quad core environment enough to server this amount of traffic?
