Classifieds website feedback!

Hello all! Im new to the forum but Ive been watching and reading some of the threads for the past few months.

I would greatly appreciate your feedback on my website's design and idea (link and site below).
It is a Free Classifieds or Marketing website (I know Im 1 in a bajillion). We've put a ton of time and effort into the website over the last 18 months. I am a little nervous

You have no idea how appreciative I am of any good or bad feedback.

    I like the design, it looks pretty creative. However, I did notice that it took my browser 3-4 seconds to load up the images at the top. Faster loading speed can be very important for keeping people around. I'm guessing the images at the top were large sized files.

    But I definitely think it looks pretty good now. The only other possible improvement I can think of is maybe you should make the font of the menu buttons a little bigger, or condense them into a large menu. But that's just personal preference for me, you might be completely fine the way it is now. I'm no blog or design expert, I've only been blogging for a year myself. I'd like your opinion of my blog design as well, send me a PM.

      Hello Ryan, thank you for reviewing my website. I think you might be right about the font size needing to be a little bigger. I had a chance to visit your blog site. I really like your logo, its clever and looks good. I too have been working on a blog, in fact I hope to incorporate it into my site sometime next week. Your blog has a very professional layout and look. I like the layout and colors you've chosen also. I had a chance to quickly skim over some of your content. Seems insightful and clear. Overall great job but I would look for something that maybe can separate your blog from other blogs out there. The content and angle may be different but look into different layouts or even adding videos. At this time I am not able to PM you because of status on the form. Good luck with your venture!

    Unique idea on listing item using video. Your website is pretty responsive- looks nice even on smartphone and tablet. However, the front page seems to load very slowly.

    I have visited your website and the first thing I experienced i.e Page Speed. It's very high so reduce it, apart from this everything is perfect listing video's is a good idea to stay user for long instead of content.
    That's really a cool idea.

      Anyways, the bones of your design are really good, structure and everything seems solid.

      What I don't like is the heavy green and purple color scheme. I'd soften those up if I were you and go with something a little less solid, maybe a lighter version of both colors.

      I also noticed that your "GET STARTED" button jumps around depending on where the mouse is, which is something that's a bit chaotic. The simpler the better, so I'd make sure that an element that needs to be clicked doesn't move.

      Otherwise, the bones are good. I'd just choose a softer color scheme and tighten things up. Good stuff!

    Thank you for the input! I never really thought much of the color or the buttons moving around on the banner. I figured those were miner things. I do agree that maybe the buttons should stay put. Ill work on that. Thank you for the insight, much appreciated!
