If you have blog post and pages that get updated with information every few days will that negatively affect SEO? Is there a way of doing this without running into SEO troubles?

  • It will depend on what changes and the crawl rate.
If the content is really that different, can you create separate new pages each time?
  • It won't negatively affect SEO.
I'm assuming you only have a single page or post that is constantly changing?
Is all the information on there completely different or are you just tweaking a few things on the page daily?

If anything it'll make crawlers come back more often as they know you website gets updated more frequently.

    • Hi peter,

Actually it is one page where I will be adding links every few days. It will be a massive collection of links to other sites. Not for back linking purposes but to create a reference area on a certain topic.
  • That should be fine.
You can also set all the links to "No Follow" which means Google crawlers won't take them into consideration.

Below is an example of a No Follow link in html:
    <a href="http://www.google.com/">Google Search</a>
