New article review site - opinions please
Hello all,
I have an idea for a review site I would like opinions on before start sending too much traffic.
It's an article review site whereby article publishers would post a preview of their article for the purpose of having it rated by visitors using several rating criteria. Below the summary text is a preview card linking to the article and the rating choices at the bottom.
I'm hoping to generate traffic through social referrals where registered members (affiliates) earn points for every new signup. Points can be used to post article reviews and in the shop for digital downloads. When it really gets going I hope there will be enough incentive for visitors to read and rate the articles generating more traffic to the authors site.
I will collect subscribers via opt-in popups, each list having a related category with posts created by the authors. Authors can also post an intro PDF with links to their products in the store which would also be used as lead magnets for the lists.
It's not completed yet, just a few sample posts, front end writing template and a few digital products.
