How do you get a login box on your website?

How do membership sites get a login box on their homepage? Do you use a plugin for that or what?

I don't have a memberships site, just a blog that 4 people are contributing to, but it would be nice if they could all log in on the homepage rather than having to go to a separate page to log in. Just wondering how I would do that.

If you are talking about WordPress then you can add a Login widget

Yep, I am using Wordpress, but I don't see a login widget in the widgets. How do I get one?

Widgets are installed just like plugins.
If you are not familiar with widgets then take a look at this video.

I recommend A5 Custom Login Page because you can use a shortcode to add the login form where ever you want on your website.

If you want just a simple sidebar login widget then try Sidebar Login Widget
