What is the best web theme for a portfolio (graphic design field)?

There are so many cool themes to buy from, and if you want to buy a theme for a portfolio (graphic design field), do you go for the sophisticated minimalist design (i wanted to go for lil bit sophistication but then again it wont be useful for the average person), or you go for the trendy full width one page where it will look more like a corporate website?
