How to Solve Duplicate Meta In My Webmaster Tools For Multiple page Post. Please Help

Hello, I am a new developer, I have few post with some long tips and I made those posts into multiple page, like subpage; 1/2/3/4, For example I have some hairstyles post I made subpage for each hairstyles; my platform is wordpress, I have given one unique meta description and meta Title for that particular post, after few days in my webmaster tools I found an unexpected error, when I try to find my sites HTML improvements in Google webmaster I found there are plenty of duplicate meta description and meta title, all are my multiple post. please suggest me a better way to solve this duplicate meta problem. Thanks in advance.

    Could you provide the link of your website? It will be best to go through it and then can suggest the best possible solutions. As this time I don't know whether your website is product based or simple blog website etc.
    And also if you can tell us which wordpress plugin you are using for maintaining meta tags?

        Do you have paginated content? and adding tags on every posts?
        See if you have paginated content then every paginated page will be treated as different page but meta will be same and this will cause Duplicate Meta tags issue.
        And every tags (Added into post) also creates a new page in Wordpress, which counts a new page for search engine crawler and will cause Duplicate meta tags.
        So its better to placing static meta tags on your website, use any plugin.
        I like to have either "SEO Ultimate" or "All in One SEO" plugin for word press sites to optimize Meta tags.

        SEO Ultimate will give you access to block archived, and tags urls and provide access to place unique meta tags for every pages, (Whether it is post, page, tags, paginated page, even image also).

        Try this and make unique meta tags for each pages, this will definitely solve your problem.

          Thanks again for your suggestion..I use unique meta tags for each post and I use yoast seo plugin and I don't use tags in my post. I posted the same post at Google webmaster forum some experts says Duplicate meta does not create any issue...is this true you think ?

    Those errors are more for your reference, having duplicate meta tags usually won't cause issues, as long as they are still relevant and reflect the content of the page. People often have duplicates, especially when there are multiple pages like you mention.
