Wordpress Template question

If I create a site using wordpress 2016 theme and then change to studio press / Genesis theme
Is it as simple as changing the theme or would it be advised to start with a studio press theme?

reason being is I have bitnami running on my machine and want to start setting up the site now and eventually hire someone to move it over to a studio press theme as soon as I find one we like.

good plan / Bad plan?

    That is simple. Upload your new studio press / Genesis theme and activate it.

    Take note, coz you change the theme, you should also rearrange your website, logo and banner etc.

    You might need to create a child theme if you want more customizations.

    You would have to install the theme you want on your WordPress and activate it. It would be like creating your site from the scratch. You would have to create your previous design on this theme or you can change the design.

    i may suggest you use uwamp it is portable server like bitnami but it is light wave so use it and upload studio press theme and activate child theme and also want to customize it know more details css.
