I'm looking for a free one page theme for a business website.

I'm having trouble with this and would love your help. I need a simple one page theme for a business site that does not have the developers' branding (or at least has it subtly in the footer). I downloaded a few from Colorlib but they had big branded bands on the top (Zerif, for example, which has an enormous ZERIF band on the top).
Can anyone recommend how I can find a good onepage theme that is free - and how can I tell if it's going to have branding all over it? It's often hard to tell as the demos are always for the premium version and the info for the free version doesn't let you know that you can't remove the branding.
Any help would be really appreciated.

    Are you talking about this one -wordpress.org/themes/zerif-lite/ ?

    You can actually remove the Zerif Logo and replace it with yours.

      Oh really?! Thanks so much. I'll have another look and try to figure out how to do that. I presume I can remove the "sample page" option too then?

      Hey, I can't seem to edit the index file of my page. Any advice? I'm quite new at all this.

      I went to Appearance - Editor. What next? Any advice? Do I need to remove something from the PHP code.

      I just want the Zerif light bar removed from the top of the theme.

    You can use any free template you want in the site. You can also customize it the way you want and use your logos and grahics and place your own footer links.

    Just edit the index file, and place your brand, title, company and links in your footer and header, and edit its content.

    In the image folder, replace the logo with your logo file having the same dimension as theirs.

    Hi all.

    Okay, so I managed to get rid of it. I just clicked on the Sample Page, then Edit (at the top when logged in) and moved it to trash. Yay!
