Jetpack for their Publicize plugin.
For caching - I prefer Cache Enabler (which is generally the fastest).
CDN Enabler for a CDN if you have one.
Optimus for image optimisation - also converts to WebP - integrates with Cache Enabler nicely.
Yoast SEO as well is a great plugin.

Oh yeah can't forget the pixabay plugin too to add all the free images you want to help make your blog a bit better. Big time saver

While plugins are great you should keep in mind that some plugins are performance hogs. You should always check your mobile speed using Googles PageSpeed Insight tool https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ before and after installing a plugin. Remember to clear your cache before doing this.

Another thing to remember is not to have too many plugins for the same reason.

I like to use Wordfence Security, just for that extra level of security. It's easy to use and has two-factor authentification, not bad!

1. WP Customer Reviews - It has schema markup code implemented and is a great way to add a reviews section to your products.

2. Yoast SEO - If you're not using this, then I don't know what to say... Just follow their guidelines and green light everything and your page will rank pretty well.

3. Formcraft - It's a premium drag and drop Form Builder that is easy to use.

4. Google Analytics Dashboard - Self explanatory, it is a plugin that integrates with your analytics account and allows you to view this information on your Wordpress dashboard.

5. Easy 301 Redirect - Check your Google Webmaster tools for any broken links, copy and paste. Simple as that.

7. UberMenu - If you agree that the default Wordpress menu is lame, then I would suggest spicing things up with Uber Menu. You can do a lot more than the simple drop down look.

8. Columns Shortcode - I prefer the one by Konstantin Kovshenin, but it may not work on all wordpress themes. If not, go with the one by Codepress. This is a great way to add columns to your posts and pages if you do not want to do it with CSS.

9. WP Stylist Post and widget - If you have a blog or a magazine type of site, then this will be a great addition. It will display rotating posts, popular posts and you can display them by category.

10. Events Manager - Great to have if you want to notify people of an event. Links with Google Maps and displays very nicely on your website.

These WordPress themes don't look the greatest but they are optimized for conversions and speed. Check and check.

3. WP Forms
I hate contact form 7 and this is the premium alternative.

4. Beacon.by
Create lead magnets for you blog posts quickly and easily with this WordPress plugin.

5. Squirrly SEO
Yes, this plugin works with Yoast SEO and it helps you optimize your blog posts in real time.

6. Pretty Link Pro
The easiest link cloaker for affiliate marketers and bloggers.

7. Wishlist Member
You don't want strangers getting access to your members area? Secure your members area easily with Wishlist Member

8. Wp Wordcount
How long was that last blog post you wrote? Get the details on your blog posts individually or monthly with this WordPress plugin

9. OptinMonster
Get more subscribers from your site with this plugin. It's quick and easy to setup and have a popup on your site in minutes.

10. Sidebar Hero
My favorite plugin would have to be Sidebar Hero. This plugin is not live yet but it's launching on October 17th, 2016. I always hated the fact that WordPress would not let you customize your sidebar widget area so I created this plugin so you can offer customized sidebar content to your visitors.

There is a lot of WordPress plugins but I do not see best or worst but which are important and which you need for your website/blog in that moment. Take for example: you find the best plugin for multilingual site, but do you really need it, will your site will be multilingual or not, if not that plugin is useless for you.
For me list should be: Plugins which every WordPress site must have (or something similar).
