Hello,

I am wanting to change my current shared hosting to a new VPS for better performance for my blogs.

My friend suggested me to choose one from these VPS packages

HOST COLOR - SSD VPS - 1 CPU Core, 1024 MB RAM, 10 GB SSD Storage - $15/mo
OFFER KVM VPS with ssd and US based
LJSHost - UK Web Hosting | Virtual Servers
OFFER LIMITED -30% OFF or x2 Storage VPS 3.5Ghz CPU - SSD - 200Mbps Bandwidth - 500Gbps DDOS protection

My budget is $35/month and I want to have at least 2GB of RAM with whm/cPanel installed on the server

I don't know which package above is better. Can anyone have experience about VPS hosting, please advise me should choose which package is best.

Thanks in advance.
Frank

      Just a little addendum here....
I had hosting with a different company that for a time I actually worked for when I lived in Houston TX. That is when I was starting my IM business. Support was best in the business(that's what I did while I was there), but the actual hosting lost performance and quality when the host was bought out then condensed with all the other companies purchased by EIG.

I have used GoDaddy, HostGator, Bluehost, and a few others.
Hostwinds is the best I have used and that's why they are my current host.

If a customer signs up with them, someone gets a commission. Either Hostwinds keeps the commission for themselves, or an
affiliate gets it. Isn't WF for affiliates, by affiliates?

Have a look at VPS accounts from HostSailor.com and QHoster.com, servers are as stable as a rock and prices are affordable.
Support is always ready to help.

VPS deals from hostsailor.com and .hostafrica.co.za are worth trying as they are able to satisfy all your demands.
Servers are as stable as a rock and support is skillful and fast.

We're using Amazon EC2, so far so good for us.
It's easy to upgrade from a less powerful server to more powerful with one mouse click only.

What is pricing for Amazon EC2? I have not ever tried it before. If it's good, I may consider for next VPS packages.

I would suggest hostcolor in your list, it is familiar to me and well known.

It also depends on your decision, no one choose better than you in this case.

    Hey Frank,

As your requirements, 2 GB of RAM and $35/month

I will choose HOST COLOR or GswHosting as links mentioned above.

    Hope it helps!

I used both hosting companies are Ljhost and Hostcolor. Just for ljhost, if you want to have high speed for your websites, you need to choose more CPUs for your packages.
