    I think Emily misunderstood you.

    You're talking about the font that's INSIDE THE EDITOR, and not the font that's shown on the front-end to users, right?

    To edit that...use your Chrome (right-click) > Inspect tool to see where that font is set in the CSS, and then go edit it to something else.

    If you are looking into changing the editor's font I would suggest that you try to use this plugin TinyMCE. As per description of the plugin, "Open Sans in the TinyMCE Editor. The TinyMCE Font Plugin change the WordPress visual editor font from serif to sans-serif (Open Sans) and makes it a little bit larger."
