How your loading time can affect your Ecoomerce

What happens in the offline world happens in much less time in the online. Users in a matter of seconds are frustrated. You do not have time to not show them what they are looking for immediately. Your sales depends on it.

We only have one chance to create a good first impression. The loading speed of your website can in many cases prevent someone from even seeing your offer. You have to be aware of this data.

Users who do not buy because the web does not load fast

According to a study, you only have 3 seconds to upload your website if you do not want to risk 57% of your users leaving. There is still much more impact in this context. 80% of these people who have had this experience will never come back. A 1 second increase in upload speed can negatively impact your conversions by 7%.

People are very different from each other. Therefore there is no exact data for all people. Despite having different perceptions (which is a slow web for one, it does not have to be for another), the safest way is to make sure your store shows the contents as soon as possible.

Users who do not reach you because Google penalizes you

The user experience is one of the factors that Google is giving more importance in recent years. It is logical because it has a direct impact on satisfaction with their own services. If Google sends me to pages that do not contain what Im looking for or do not provide a minimum quality, I may eventually look for better alternatives.

It does not surprise therefore that the waiting time of a user before the contents of the web are shown is an important factor in the level of SEO (officially since 2012). It is difficult to say with exactitude (not to say impossible) how many visits and consequently sales are lost, but it is unquestionable that it has an impact.

What can you do to make your website load faster?
At this point we can agree on the fact that having an online store that charges quickly is important. Now the question is. If I am aware that I have a problem in this regard. What I can do to fix it?

Eliminate existing problems

It is much easier to identify the problems of your website than you can imagine. Then removing them obviously can be more complicated. Especially if you do not have the necessary technical knowledge or you have a web fudge and you do not know with which clamp to catch it.

There are pages that offer you the possibility of an online audit without cost to indicate you the pages that you should review. There are also tools from Google that make you a test of speed and also help you to optimize automatically.

Put a more powerful hosting

Not always the loading speed of a store is solved by eliminating the existing problems. Sometimes more power is needed at the server level. E-commerce platforms like Magento with many products, require many more resources than a Woocommerce with 10-20.

Ideally, be informed about the knowledge of your hosting provider platform. Sometimes there are specific requirements that not all companies offer by default. There are also specialized hostings (eg for Magento) with the aim of offering a more specialized service solving problems that in advance arise with suppliers who lack experience in this field.

You have to be clear that the loading speed of your web affects your sales. Start detecting it before and eliminate existing problems. If you need to put more iron, invest the money if you take it seriously. To do things halfway better not do them ...

That's very true. Websites that loads too slow throws me off a lot and I just eventually give up. It is necessary to really optimize your website well.
