Need technical feedback on this eBay offer

I continue to study various aspects of IM and came across this offering on eBay. I have zero technology skills and was hoping that some of the knowledgeable folks here would take a look at this offer and see if it is legit, priced fairly, etc. - and perhaps tell me, if appropriate, what I'm "not seeing in the fine print"! Also - what are the ongoing support requirements for a page/site like this and can they be outsourced effectively and economically?

I would consider having sites like this developed for a few of my hobbies/passions such as civil war related books and art, various categories of modern military topics such as special operations related topics, weaponry, etc.

I hope I am not violating any rules by posting the link to this eBay offering.

Thanks in advance for any input you may share on this topic - I am relatively new to IM and have just started to read about this specific aspect of it.

Here's the offer in question;

Until someone with more experience chimes in....

There are many people that flip websites. I have seen several sellers on eBay that sell the same types every month, football, golf. I am under the understanding that you if you use an adsense ready template that google may pull your account.

There are several free guides on how to build these sites and resell, or keep, them. I have downloaded several of these guides last night right here, although it may have been from the War Room.

If you check out flippa and a few other sites where sites get sold and you can find some incredible deals, IMO. Many of these sites have traffic and are already producing actual income. Not the 'look how much it can pay' type income, but real checks every month. Granted small checks but still real results.

This eBay site looks nice but I'd bet you that some of the more experienced warriors here could knock that site out for $10 ($9 domain reg fee) in less than an hour.

Just my $.02 and probably not even worth that much.

    Good Luck,
    Steve

I missed the auction and its ended now, so I don't know what the site went for in the end.

But I would say if you want to buy a site like this first look in the WSO area, then the Warriors for Hire section, there are many talented designers on here you could deal with perhaps for a cheaper price, you can also check out my site in my signature and see if there is anything I can help you with

      Cheers

I can say that their definition of "Established" and my definition mean different things.
I think their definition means it is on a web server and running. Mine means the site has been around awhile and has been established as an Authority in the niche.

Many of those sites sold cheaply on Ebay are sold with the sites being hosted on their servers or reseller program. I think that is where they make their residual income.
The site content comes from feeds meaning it it other people's content.

It takes about 5 minutes (once you have a hosting service) to set up a copy of word press.
