Question, please.
Looking for a submission tool for my site - basically a page that allows other stores to submit their products. I would like to review beforehand and make sure the items are acceptable.

Do I need coding for that or software ?

I need something "entry-level" right now until the site grows.

Any ideas, please.

  • When you say "products" are you talking about digital/downloadable products or tangible products?
  • Tangible products. Like you can with ebay, amazon and so on but tiny of course.

  • If you're using Joomla, Virtuemart allows you to have vendors. They would be in control of what they list but you can step in and block products. There are other options that do the same thing.

    Wordpress has the same sort of options available as do other CMSs.

    They can be difficult for a novice to configure but the docs are good, so you can do it yourself.

    What platform is your site built on? If it is one of the big platforms just search for that platform with 'eCommerce add-on with vendors'.

    Look for a contact form that allows attachments (images, PDFs, etc...).
