Hello everyone...I'm seeking pointers here. I have a small niche that I have a passion for and I'm trying to set up a WordPress website. I have done paid for hosting and installed wordpress. After that I get a little over whelmed. This website I want it to be partially a information website about keywords related to the niche. I have in mind that this will help pull in traffic to it through google ?? Also on this website I want it to have a shop so i can sale related products within the niche. I would also like it to have a auction on the site as well so i can have a auction occasionally. Does what I'm trying to do make sense ? This is my first ever website. The niche has hardly no competition that's doing what I have in mind to do. It is a small niche but would help me make some extra money. Also I wanted to see if you all could point me in direction to where i could get some trust worthy person help to help layout my site. I have a wordpress theme that I want to use but cant get it laid out like i want. It gets overwhelming quickly. I know my ideal would help me make some money but I don't have the tech skills to get up and running. I would really appreciate some of you would chime in and help a newbie out. Thank you all for reading.

The best thing for you to use is something like Optimizepress or one of the drag and drop wordpress builders such as: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-...for-wordpress/

When you use one of them, you can change the layout easily.

I don't know how you will achieve the auction part though. You will probably have to look for a plug in with those capabilities and purchase it for extra.

I'll back up what Damjam said about the page builder and add these nuggets of knowledge:

This website I want it to be partially a information website about keywords related to the niche. I have in mind that this will help pull in traffic to it through google ??
Your first step should be to install the Yoast SEO plugin on the site. This will help you with your on page optimization. This is only a small portion of SEO. Once your pages has been optimized for a keyword you will need to work to build authority on the site via social shares, and links to the site.

Adding keywords to a page will not automatically rank your website. You'll need to spend some time building links and shares to your site.

Also on this website I want it to have a shop so i can sale related products within the niche
A plugin called Woocommerce is your best bet for this one.

I would also like it to have a auction on the site as well so i can have a auction occasionally.
I don't have experience building auctions, but I did a Google search and found a few plugins that would allow you to have this functionality. Here is an article that covers the basics of creating auctions on your WP site: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/t...e-on-wordpress

I guess you can use some free website maker to begin with. It is one of the most basic ways to build a decent website fast and easy. You can also try Wordpress and some themes for it or make everything on your own. It is up to you!
