please comment on our site.

We sell a new weight loss product called Liporidex

Its done with Joomla, but the healthblog is a wordpress blog.

Does this wind up confusing search engines/bots?

I have a joomla sitemap extension as well as a wordpress one. I'm no expert (thats why Im asking you guys), but It just seems that something is wrong with this setup.

    I am no Joomla user, but for sure you could make some permalinks for your wordpress blog, unless you already have that planned

    Why do you think it would be confusing? The are different site maps right? Don't think that would cause a problem.

    I observed that the theme is a wordpress blog. I think your permanent links has a URL structure and it is better if you change the permanent setting into postname

      If you haven't figured it out yet, in your Dashboard, go to "Settings", then to "Permalinks". Check the structure you want, I prefer %postname%, since you should be using keywords in your post titles.

      Just remember, you'll have to update your .htaccess file, or create one if you don't already have one.

      You can always mess with it, make a change, update the .htaccess file and see how the urls' turn out. Not going to "break" anything

      Some times you'll need to refresh, for the new structure to take affect.

    The permalink structure is to make your Blog URLs more User/SEO Fiendly
    This is set up in your Wordpress admin.

    There is no problem using the different Content Scripts, joomla+wordpress
    It is done quite often. I have several different ones for my current project. Shopping cart, Arcade Script, Wordpress, Forum....

    Your site looks great...The only thing I would ad is an optin form to capture your visitors name and email. You could offer a free 7 series email on health and nutrition or something similar of value. You can then creat a list you can send all of your offers on automatic with your autoresponder. You can include discounts and bonuses with your emails. Not every visitor will buy on the first visit.

    thanks for the advice and compliments^^^

    im setting up communitybuilder as we speak to capture names, with an AJAX module that will display rotating testimonials and various offers.

    like I said, i had pretty poor converison w/ adwords.

    Should I create a landing page that is SIMPLE, and totally directed to the selected long-tail keywords??
