What are your favorite WP Plugins & Why

Hey folks, I have a few WP sites and have some plugins I really like, but I think there is always room for improvement. What are your favorite plugins and why do you like them? What functionality do they add to your site?

Here are a couple of mine I use on every site:

All-In-One SEO - Makes basis SEO easy by reminding me what needs to be done
One Click Close Comments - Makes it easy to not allow coments on any page I choose

    I like the Auto Terms of Service and Privacy Policy plugin,
    TinyMCE Advanced plugin is great also.
    Pretty Link lite is another favorite of mine.

        The All In One SEO plugin has an easy to use dashboard that reminds me what I need to do to make sure the on page SEO is done. It reminds me to make sure all my alt tags for pictures are added, meta tags are done, page description is there, etc. It's free and there is a paid upgrade if you wish. The free version works perfectly well for almost every application. If you want something more robust with more features, go with the Pro version which gives added support for Woo Commerce sites and a Video SEO module.

        Closing comments in WordPress is not especially easy. You need to go into the Settings > Discussion screen and do it there. The problem is, all previous posts would still have their previous settings, so you would need to repeat the steps on each one. With the One Click close Comments plugin, you simply go to the page or post and click one button to close the comments for that page or post. It cuts down on the time needed to do the task. I use it on every WordPress site I have and decide when to turn it on or leave it off.

        You can find the plugins with a simple search of the WordPress site or just add them from the plugin section of your own WordPress based site by searching from there.

    What are your favorite plugins and why do you like them?
    OptimizePress because it's freakin' awesome...

    I can't imagine using WP without it. How did I do it pre-OP?

      For some reason I always though Optimize Press was a theme and not a plugin. Guess I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the tip.
