Both my wix and adobe muse websites are loading very slow... any reasons why?

I recently posted about pricing websites on here a few days ago and received some amazing
advice.
I then went to start up a couple websites. First on wix, i wanted to make a website with a lot of videos on there. I quickly noticed when i went to preview my site it took up to 15 - 20 seconds to load the site and for the top video to show.
I then tried to make the same website on Adobe Muse and had the exact same problem.
I even tried to make photos into lightbox videos to use less memory and still took 20 - 30 seconds on muse.
The thing is i know 3 - 4 websites in my niche who have over 3000 videos on each site and there loading speed is 3 - 5 seconds. How is it possible for a website with 3000 videos can load quick but my website only had 20 on and took ages. Worse part is my website overtime will have 100s of videos. This is a huge problem for me, do i really have to learn code just to get a site like this running
