    Hi,

Webdesign: Simply you call it fronted design, suppose you have a PSD or JGP file and you want to convert it web page. So first of all you need to work fronted by HTML, CSS, JS, Bootstraps etc,,its webdesign. Now you have a static website, its not dynamic site.

So what is dynamic site ? If you are able to change your site any features or style from a dashboard without changing code just visually, so it dynamic site.

Development: If you make your site dynamic by PHP, Perl, ASP, ASP.net etc server site language , so it call web development work. Its a backed work of site.

    Thanks.

In website design we use all the system side languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. to design a web page. These website have no functionality and it become static in nature. Website designs are developed by the graphic and web designers.
To convert these static website in dynamic is termed as website development. In this we create and use lots of functionalities using server side programming languages like PHP, JAVA, Dot Net, etc. Website development is done by web developers. Database is also used in web development.

    WEB DESIGN:

1] Web designers use various design programs such as Adobe Photoshop to create the layout and other visual elements of the website. ...

2] The "design" part of this equation deals with the customer-facing or "front end" part of the website. A web designer is concerned with how a site looks and how the customers interact with it (they are sometimes also referred to as "experience designers"or "UX designers").

3] Designers do much more than make a site "look pretty" - they truly dictate the usability of a website's interface.

    WEB DEVELOPMENT:

1] Web developers use HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and other programming languages to bring to life the design files.

2] Web development comes in two flavors - front-end development and back-end development. Some of the skills in these two flavor overlap, but they do have very different purposes in the web design profession.

3] A front-end developer takes the visual design of a website (whether they created that design or it was handed to them by a visual designer) and builds it in code. A front-end developer will use HTML for the structure of the site, CSS to dictate the visual styles and layout, and perhaps even some Javascript. For some small sites, front-end development may be the only kind of development that is needed for that project. For more complex projects, "back-end" development will come into play.

4] Back-end development deals with the more advanced programming and interactions on web pages. A back-end web developer focuses on how a site works and how the customers get things done on it using certainly functionality. This could include working with code that interfaces with database or creating features like Ecommerce shopping carts that connect to online payment processors and more.

Web design is the most common term used for professionals in this industry. Oftentimes, when someone says they are a "web designer" that are referring to a very broad set of skills, one of which is visual design and Web development comes in two flavors - front-end development and back-end development. Some of the skills in these two flavor overlap, but they do have very different purposes in the web design profession.

    Lets understand the difference.

    Web Design:
The "design" part of this equation deals with the customer-facing or "front end" part of the website. A web designer is concerned with how a site looks and how the customers interact with it (they are sometimes also referred to as "experience designers"or "UX designers").

    Development:
A front-end developer takes the visual design of a website (whether they created that design or it was handed to them by a visual designer) and builds it in code. A front-end developer will use HTML for the structure of the site, CSS to dictate the visual styles and layout, and perhaps even some Javascript. For some small sites, front-end development may be the only kind of development that is needed for that project. For more complex projects, "back-end" development will come into play.

Hope this information will become helpful to you

    Hi,

Web design is the visual look of a website and the functionality from a user's perspective. Web development is the process of coding a website to create the intended design using programming languages
