Is my content good or worth reading?

Hi all,

I started my self improvement website www.LifeGuider.com back in April and have wrote a ton of 100% unique content. Many in depth articles about self improvement, fitness, health, etc. and while I personally feel my content is better than most other websites I still feel like my site and content is missing something. What are the experts thoughts on this site? What do I need to change or do differently to get better engagement from my audience and a gain a bigger readership? Any feedback would be appreciated as I truly do want to get better.

Your sites looks fine to me,I'm just looking at your site as a normal visitor. If you mean that you have less visitors, then make sure that you have seo optimized your site properly.Seo is as important as the content in your site.

Usually when here ( Warrior Forum ) there is a request to look at a site... the voice in my head generally speaks to me "If you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all ) and thats before I even click on the link. Usually - unfortunatley is a good thing that soft reminder is spoken.

Your writting is good - probably better than good. you have a clear voice and present the information very well. The fact you have 2 authors is even better.

What you are missing... interaction - I think you know that already. If you were to take a step back and read one of your posts.. yes written very well, learned a lot.. and if you read the comments you do have, that is exactly what they are. Thanks well written learned alot.

You need to change up your writting style just a touch...

I noticed you have introduced a forum recently. i think for you this may actually be a positive turning point. If you convert your existing posts, into a more "How To" presentation of the information, it will open up for more interatction.

2 examples. Your wifes post on Meal Prep... Very to the point.. here is a list.. this is how much it cost... Here are some recipes have a great day. Re write the content, with the idea that you need to ask questions. You need to come form a place that the written word sounds like a conversation. The line " We will look at carbohydrate counting and how to measure out the correct portion size to the amount of carbs you will need. " and turn it into something like " We have to look at the dreaded carb counting... Its all so confusing right? Below is a list of common fruits, and how many much you can eat and what the carb count is:
    • Grapes
    • Blueberries
    • Strawberries
    • Bananas

Expand the list a bit.. throw in some foods that are wicked off the charts ( I would assume bananas would be out there - portion size 1/4 of a 1/2 inch slice LOL )

So create the interactive content on the forum. As you replicate the post content in the forum, go back and modify the post to include a link to the forum discussion on the same topic. " Get into the discussion click here " You also want to link from the forum post, back to the original article.

Your Law of the Harvest post. break down the 10 points... give examples or your actual life stories of these.. ask others to share #1 for example " We have to know what we want before we begin. " change up the context just a bit, and this is " Goal setting " no? what goals do you have in your life?

questions create conversation, and conversation creates community. It comes down to the voice, and how the interact is introduced. Laying down fact is great, starting conversation is better.

As a bit of an added. I would create a graphic maybe for the forum section ( leave the link in the main nav bar ) but just above that ( the nav bar ) place the banner. on each POST I would drop the same banner right at the bottom before the social links.

    Hope that Helps

You need to first check, if the niche your in, has visitors for that niche every month on Google planner, and it will show you if people even care about reading this stuff, so your content can be the best, but if no one is searching for it, then you will not convert.
