    Hi TrafficFlow ,

Happy to do a brief review of the site you posted, I run a digital agency in New York, lived in Miami for awhile so somewhat familiar with your content.

In order to give feedback, would you provide some insights as the goals of your site? What you are looking to achieve with it? Then I can provide tangible feedback based on that information.

    Best,

    j.

Thanks. My short term goal is to generate enough traffic and search ranking for key terms such as "things to do in Miami", to be able to obtain at least $400 a month in adsense revenue. Longer term goal is to attract advertisers and/or tour companies that offer tours in Florida and provide ads that I can post on the site and receive affiliate fees.

    Hey buddy:

You need to work on your website first before aiming to achieve your Goals - traffic/money from Ads.

    Text Error - http://tourinflorida.com/things-to-do/

Need to work on footer and web presentation a lot.

Once you have user friendly, people would like to stay on your website and read more.

    Cheers,
    Steve

The first thing that sticks out to me is the beautiful pictures. Many websites, especially these days, look the same. This sticks out in a memorable eye-catching way.

Just looking at the front page it appears this is a website focused on doing things in the Florida Keys.

I checked out one of the pages and thought one of the videos was cool.

Very easy to understand and read. Definitely a winner in my book.

I created the site to look different from most travel sites and decided to place an emphasis on photos many of which were purchased from Adobe Stock Photos.

Your opinion let's me know that at least I succeeded in that one goal. Now I just need to focus on making the site user friendly, getting rid of broken links and creating great content.

      Thanks.

Hi, it kinda takes forever for me to load your page. Must be an issue with my ISP. How is your traffic so far? If you want to increase traffic on your page you can try influencer marketing.

    Agree on the loading speed.
Also, there is too much white space at the bottom, looks a little cheap.

You have a lot of content, just need another theme.
Take a look at https://travel.oceanwp.org - it looks more clean and professional IMHO.

Don't want to be rude and appreciate your effort. However, it takes "forever" to load, and your header is loading last. so i look at a white screen.
Scrolling down you are right it is different than most travel blogs, but not necessarily in a good way. The trending section is a bit a chaos.
looking at a page for example http://tourinflorida.com/things-to-do-in-tampa/
is simply a disaster. errors, picture integration, tag-stuffing.
Unless your strategy is that people click on adsense to get away from the page I believe it makes more sense to start all over with a different, better planned and thought through concept. it takes less work than trying to fix the existing.
But that is just my opinion, I might be totally wrong.

You really need to compress your image files with "Smush" or something. Takes too long for page to load.

    1) Yes the photos are beautiful.

    2) As others have said, the site is a bit slow.

    3) Menu Location: The menu is at the right of the page and at the same height as Tour in Florida. The menu should be either at the top (over Tour in Florida), a column on the left of the screen, or at the bottom of the header. In general I think you should ask a graphic designer to work on your header. The relative positions of the title, the menu and the slogan are not appropriate.

    4) Your menu has three sections: Home, things to do, destinations. It should instead have 6 or 7 sections. The menu is not complete enough, not detailed enough, not inviting enough.

    5) Every article (eg Florida Keys article) should have a "hat" that summarizes the article and prompts us to read it. It should also be divided into subsections with each a subheader.

Now, the visitor must confront a large block of text without knowing exactly what it will contain. To put it another way, the visitor can not scan the page before reading it ... then in the majority of cases, he will not read it!

    6) A logo on your homepage would probably be a good idea.( Return to point 3: ask a graphic designer to work on your site. You can find someone that is good and that do not charge too much in India: Hire Freelancers in India & Find Freelance Jobs Online | WorknHire)

    7) You worked a lot. Nice effort. Good luck with your site!

    Hi

Your website took ages to load! I'm pretty sure it's not my laptop or internet connection as it's working perfectly.

Something you may want to work on?

I loved the pictures and the videos. I would add a newsletter to let people know about upcoming events in any of the florida locations. You might want to add information about flights and the best hotels, travel packages, etc.. I think you have a good start. The page does load faster. Good for you

I'll take a look at your site again.

    1) That's right. The photos are beautiful. I love them a lot.

    2) If I do an analysis with Pingdom from Washington, the result is: 6.31 seconds. It's really too slow.

Among other things, the homepage of your site makes 132 http requests.

I see you have the following plugins:

    Essential Grid,
    Thrive Visual Editor,
    Easy Social Share Buttons,
    Nextend Smart Slider3 Pro,
    Gp Premium.

    Are they really all necessary?

    3) Your site is not secure: http rather than https. Google wants all websites to be secure. This is an important thing to correct.

    Good luck!

You shared the quite lot of information, which will definitely help me set my new blog. Actually, I have been planning to start a blog which will give local travel experience here in India. Because in India there are many travel bloggers who shared their travel experience based on some know destination, that is like some holiday destination, but I think there is lots more to share because India is known for different ethnicities, cultures and languages with the region by region. I would really appreciate if you could give some tips on my Local travel blog. Thanks

I think maybe look at using a Lazy Load plugin, this will help your page load faster.

Images only load as as you scroll down the page, i.e it doesn't load all images at once. You can do some testing with Google Page Insights below.....

    Traffic Flow,

I like your website. I think the look and feel are just fine.

    Keep working on speed.

I think I would stop adding pages and completely develop the ones you already have...such as your Destin page. You list several things to do. How about adding their facebook link? Their web address and a screenshot of their homepage.

I also don't think you should have any content on there about Asia and such...Florida only.

Keep up the good work, you're doing fine.
