Genesis Framework for Wordpress

Does anyone have any experience with this one? I was looking at some of the themes available at these folks website and was really liking what I saw so far. I guess what I am asking is a very general question. Do you like it? Would you recommend it?

    Not for anyone who is not experienced with PHP and HTML. The framework is great, but requires knowledge. It is definitely not a drag-and-drop framework.

    Definitely this is excellent PHP framework and most popular framework.

    Yes i like it more, because of it is possible to quick development for startup site and also able to develop more pro site but all are depends on language and technology expertise.
    Would you recommend it?
    Yes.but required development experience with security knowledge,otherwise there is trouble to keep it safe.

    Thanks for the replies folks. Any recommendations for one that does not require too much technical expertise but at the same time is very configurable and has a nice aesthetic to it?

    How about Thrive themes? Any better in regards to security, non coder friendly for configurability?

    And what about Optimize Press?

    I've heard a lot of buzz about both. But do they both stand up to these two tests? User friendly? Newbie friendly? Configure friendly? And last but definitely not least: What about security? Good/fair/sh!t?

    Both are premium framework and good rating.Pro themes always risk free more than free themes.Yes those are flexible,friendly and configurable and more flexible for html and css developer. just follow pro themes and plugin provider security guideline ,it will help you to keep safe.

    Sorry I have to keep making the same recommendation. I am not affiliated, nor do I benefit in the sale of, Beaver Builder WordPress theme, but I do highly recommend as a drag and drop theme solution.

      Beaver Builder looks interesting. But what is the difference between the Beaver Builder theme and the Beaver Builder Themer? Themer is being sold as a separate product. For Beaver Builder there are three different levels of purchase. The mid grade and the high end both include "Beaver Builder Theme" while the cheapest one does not. I am confused as to what exactly this means? Any idea?

        Hi Kent,

        I own the Beaver Builder theme and have no experience with Builder Themer so can't advise you on that. I think I bought the mid-grade package. Dont remember exactly. Beaver Builder is a plugin that can be used with most any theme, so I suppose the least expensive package is the plugin only.

        Beaver Builder seems to be WordPress' best answer to compete with the multitude of drag and drop website builders like Wix etc... I recently wrote an interesting article mainly comparing WordPress vs Wix

          Hey Mark, thanks for the info. I have been checking out Beaver Builder and it looks great. I do not want to spend hours doing design work, and it's not for a lack of knowledge with CSS, PHP and HTML but I am just so busy as it is. I just want to run my business and keep tabs on my contractors. So it looks like a good solution. I am pretty sold on it already and looking at the level two version which includes unlimited sites along with the native BB theme itself. Thanks again for your help. I have looked at many others, such as Thrive, Optimize Press, Genesis framework with some of their themes also, and a few more. It can definitely be overwhelming, I am likely to just go with this and see where it takes me. I will report back to this thread after I have a bit of time behind me with it and let you know what I think.

    Hi Kent!

    Since this is a year old post, I am sure you might have found your new drag amd drop builer for Wordpress.

    However, I would like to mention Elementor page builer.

    I have found Elementor to be most useful and non techie friendly than any other builder I have used with WordPress. Say thrive themes, beaver builder, visual composer from wp bakery, Divi builder, etc.

    I have used them all, and don't hate them. I would say, you should try Elementor once.

    All of the plugins utilizing the Genesis Framework have 4 to 5 star ratings from a lot of people voting. These votes are usually unbiased and provide excellent reviews.

    An important plug-in that has been voted on the most ids the Genesis Featured page Advanced

    I don't know about you but I have tried to create many Wordpress site in the past and one of my main issues was with the featured page. I have never used the featured page plugin by Genesis, however if I did I am sure I would have had an easier time creating the page with this plugin.
