  • 1.Go to the Chrome Web store and search for "screen capture" in the search box.
2.Select the "Screen Capture (by Google)" extension and install it. ...
3.After installation, click on the Screen Capture button on the Chrome toolbar and select Capture Whole Page or use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+Alt+H.

  • Hi Dan, you can try the following websites to generate thumbnails/screenshots of your website:

    2) https://www.thumboo.com/
    3) https://thumbnail.ws/

  • Try to add some screen capture tools/extensions in your browser. I would suggest for FireShot Entire Screenshot for Google Chrome. After installing this extension you can use short keys like "Ctrl+Shift+Y" to capture entire page or you can find capture menu by clicking extension icon near search bar like this-

  • I used to use a couple of different screen capture softwares but it's not necessary anymore. On my Macbook Pro the easiest was is to push 'Command' 'Shift ' '4' on the keyboard at the same time, then just drag the cursor over area to capture. It saves as a jpg file on my desktop. I love it! Easy and Free.

  • You can try doing this: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-t...age-in-chrome/

Using multiple screenshots and combining them using Photoshop can be very exhausting. Using the Chrome method should get it done -Micah

    • That I know which I already did as stated in my op above. However, it only screen captures the visible portion of the screen. And doesn't necessarily screen capture the whole web page all at once. See my post before yours as the solution.
  • I use Nimbus capture, a Firefox addon. It's got loads of options. Worth to try.

    • I think that's only for thumbnails and not to screen capture the whole page right?
  • I use the Chrome Extension called Screen Capture. It gives you the option to either capture a section of a website or the entire page. Once you made a selection on what you want to capture, it will pop up in a separate tab for you to preview. Then, you can right click on the image to save it or you can go back and try it again if you are not satisfied. It is probably my favorite Chrome Extension ever.

  • Press print screen button on your keyboard. Open any image editor. For Windows I would suggest "Paint" Now create a new file and press CTRL+V. Now your screenshot is captured in file. Save the file. That's it.

    • That'll only make a screenshot of the visible part of the screen. Whereas I wanted to know of a good way to make a screenshot of the whole page at once. Shown above in this thread are some good info and answers.

  • There are tons of great suggestions here.

May I suggest my personal favourite...

    https://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.html

There's a free trial if you don't want to spend the money on the full version.

It can capture a full scrolling web page VERY easily without multiple screenshots.

Hope that helps with another potential solution.

  • I understand that you need not just screenshots of the site, but you want to monitor its work. For this there is a special tool host-tracker.com. Here you can get detailed reports about the work of the site.

  • Since Klark Devlin raised this old topic, I might as well chime in. I suppose I am a website screenshot freak myself.

For the regular manual website screenshots, and screenshots, in general, I use Monosnap (free) because of video support and good old CMD + shift + 4. I am a Mac user, and I reviewed several options, you can find them here.

In case you are a developer and you need an API that is making website screenshots (even thousands per minute) on an automated basis, my company built an API for that. Inside the console, you can manually look up one website, and get a thumbnail or a full page. This sounds exactly like what you need. Furthermore, there are advanced features, like getting a screenshot from a different GEO location, delaying the screenshot, etc... For this screenshot solution check this page.

And finally, the one screenshot service I use most. It's a domain manager in Webmaster.ninja. There I am tracking all my websites. I log in everyday, and instantly a screenshot of all my websites is loaded, and I can see how all of them are doing, without me opening them one by one. This makes it easy to track them because there's a lot of them.

I hope this helps and since I own these websites I'd be happy to give out limited free upgraded access. Just send a message after signing up, and mention this Warrior forum post.
